Sony unveils the new controllers of the PSVR2. One month after the reveal of a “next-gen VR headset for the Playstation” (whose name is not known, but I guess it will be PSVR2), Sony has revealed one important detail of its new VR system: the controllers. The controllers will be given to selected developers very soon.

Pimax unveiled prototypes of intuitive controllers and high-resolution, broad Field of View bundles in Las Vegas this week at CES 2019. Back in 2016, Oculus’s chief scientist Michael Abrash predicted that within five years, VR headsets would have a monocular 4K resolution and 140-degree FoV.

This week has been the week of the Oculus Connect 6 , the biggest yearly event by Oculus where the VR company announces all its most important news, both on hardware and software sides. Oculus Link. You can even access to Oculus Home and Dash. Oculus Link will be available in beta in November 2019.

It seems that Mark is still working on that vision, so that in the end, Facebook will be able to do on its devices whatever it wants, without compromises and without control. A company of this kind, with full control and no restrictions, could do great things on the tech side, but very bad things on the privacy side. I hate this.

Two weeks ago, I have traveled a bit around Europe and I have visited some beautiful cities. Regarding the cost, for instance, Oculus can afford to sell its devices under cost, because it has Facebook’s deep pockets covering the losses. I must give a special mention to the Leap Motion v2 sensor. with Amazon Prime.
