Instead of firing webs, however, this device captures your hand movements and then transfers that data to a tethered Raspberry Pi-powered device connected to a computer. The device is called FingerTrak and looks a little bit like a souped up version of Spider-Man’s web shooters. You can also access their white paper here.

Facebook Connect is coming September, 16th Oculus de facto rebranded as Facebook Reality Labs. Oculus is de facto no more. This week, Facebook has finally announced the date of the Oculus Connect 7, which is September, 16th. But it won’t be called Oculus Connect 7, but Facebook Connect. Other relevant news.

On May 1st-2nd, Facebook has had its annual F8 conference. Someone says that due to recent Facebook problems with the data privacy scandal, they preferred to delay the launch of new products to a future event (maybe OC5?), Oculus Go launch. We all knew that Oculus Go would have been launched at F8 and this has been the case.
