Let me tell you my first hands-on impressions on it! Project North Star is an opensource reference design for a wide-FOV augmented reality headset that Leap Motion (now Ultraleap ) has given to the community. The hand tracking was fabulous as always thanks to Leap Motion and its Orion tracking.

This realism is offered through three main features: Fingers tracking : Senseglove can detect the orientation of your hand and also the bending angle of your fingers. It is a square one, so it seems that the system takes the undistorted view of one eye, exactly as the Oculus Go does when recording a video. It can’t track your hand while it is near to your back, because your hand should be in the field of view of the cameras… we have to see how big is the FOV of this tracking.
