This is clearly a move to appease the investors, exactly like the layoffs. Starting March 15th, Glass Enterprise 2 won’t be on sale anymore. What will happen after that is not clear, yet.

Reuters cites "two sources familiar with the matter" as saying employees on the team, still known as Facebook Agile Silicon Team (FAST), were notified of layoffs yesterday via Meta's internal communication platform Workplace.

As a direct effect of the layoffs, two XR projects not deemed as strategic have been just shut down. This is bad news for our ecosystem.
