It was later clarified that only users in Ukraine would be exempt, and not the wider list of surrounding countries.

Top news of the week (Image by Meta) Quest 3 launch is approaching Meta is following a strategy for the launch of the Quest 3 that is very different from the one that it used for the previous headsets. I just think that Meta is trying a new strategy to keep the hype high until September.

The first good sign was when in Helsinki I saw that Finland has now a long-term metaverse strategy , which means that it is going to pour money into its XR ecosystem for the next 10 years at least. Another leak regarded the release date: an Amazon listing put the availability date of the Quest 3 starting from October, 10th.
