Apple Vision Pro on the other hand has occlusion in two distinct forms. The main form is hand and arm occlusion. There’s clearly a 2D hand and arm segmentation model (separate to the 3D skeletal hand tracking) running for each eye’s camera. Unintentional inputs are also a very real problem with hand tracking.

I know controllers have gone in and out as hand tracking has gotten better for some applications and what have you, but still you buy a headset, it tends to come with controllers. Going from that, it would certainly be very exciting to see something like this, ideally ours, become part of a standard bundle.

thanks to a better tracking algorithm that allows for less power consumption on the IR LEDs of the controllers (thanks TESTED for having pointed this out). The haptic feedback of these controllers has been improved , and they can provide much stronger vibrations than the one of the original Quest. And what about the ongoing training?
