Facebook’s Oculus VR team is announcing a new bundle for its Oculus Rift VR system. The bundle will be available in “select territories” through Amazon and NewEgg. With it, customers can get a Rift headset, the Oculus Touch controllers, an ASUS VivoX PC , and four free games for the total price of $1300.

TPCast, the eponymous company producing a wireless VR transmitter, is now offering its HTC Vive-specific device for pre-order in US and Canada. Now the wireless transmitter, a battery-powered device that lets you go cable free, is available for pre-oder in the US and Canada starting today. Shipping is slated as early as November 24th.

I am also excited because thanks to the organizers of the VRX event, yesterday I have been able to interview Facebook’s Sean Liu and ask him some questions about Oculus and its vision of Virtual Reality. Who owns the Index will have the game for free (and for the occasion, the Index has been distributed to more countries, like Canada).

Or at least, sort of : the experience is still in beta (so this is officially an open beta stage) and it will be accessible without an invite only in the US and in Canada. Microsoft and Samsung may be partnering for an AR device. The new update also brings hand tracking support in the Oculus OpenXR plugin.
