Regarding the glasses, I have not big hopes for true AR glasses, but I think that thanks to Facebook and Apple, finally we’ll have some important smartglasses entering the market , making the mainstream think about wearing something on their face to enjoy notifications from the phone. Phone AR will be always more popular.

Blogger Tom Ffiske, that writes on Virtual Perceptions, has decided to write a very good book about AR and VR technologies and it is becoming pretty popular on Amazon. This is a piece of great news to help the creation of educational content about heritage.

Unity support for OpenXR is still in early beta , and so it’s not reliable yet to develop an OpenXR-compliant application in Unity. We Unity developers have still to use the current Unity tools that make us develop once, but then build for every different platform (like the ones I describe in this article ).
