That said, let me do a short recap of the past days in AR/VR. nReal launches its AR glasses devkits. The Nreal Light Developer Kits are now available for pre-orders on nReal website, with actual shipping of the units to come in one month. That’s fascinating and opens a lot of new possibilities for future AR and VR interfaces.

You never know when you won’t be able to go to the office anymore: usually, here the restrictions are being released during the evening for the morning after. So, keep a VR (and/or) AR headset at home so that you can keep working on XR software even during the lockdown. Thanks Oculus for having given us the Link functionality.

I’d also throw out there, that there’s supposed AR frames. Kent: And I expect people going to be wearing like these sunglasses that are kind of shooting spatial audio into your ears, but being able to tie with your phone, getting GPS, and being able to — basically — detect which direction you’re looking at.
