This means that someone made some predictions that were totally wrong and this made lots of companies bet on a technology that was not ready enough, creating huge losses and so the general consensus that VR is not taking foot and so it is a dead technology. But at the presentation of the latest Samsung Note 10, for the first time after the Note 4, Samsung has dropped support for Gear VR in its latest flagship device. We are at the same level of Vive Focus or Vive Pro… probably the display is the same made by Samsung. This is the same chip of the Samsung S8 and it is not the latest available for VR: Qualcomm has already released the 845 VR reference design. The screen is a pentile OLED, featuring 1600×1440 per eye resolution. Horsepower.
