Admitting that Oculus Quest is the only responsible for this big growth from last year (just an assumption, I want to be clear), we obtain that the sales of Quest for Q3 account for $81M. I’m really curious about what Apple will do in the AR/VR ecosystem and I love rumors (I even published some myself, like this one about Oculus Monterey ), but in this case, I’m not excited. Here’s @oculus chief researcher Michael Abrash suggesting we’ll have “4Kx4K” per eye by 2021. Not a good news for him/her.

This is a cool video of me unboxing the Nreal Light Devkit: I have to say that I loved unboxing this headset : while Nreal has not reached the mastery of packaging that Oculus has, it has done a great job: the external box is in a very elegant silver color, and the case of the glasses is small and beautiful.
