In a AR/VR press briefing, Google told us there are a number of new systems the update will add across all Daydream headsets, regardless of whether they’re standalone or smartphone-based. As for the store itself, Google says they want to put content front and center of the Daydream Home experience with an update to the Daydream UI.

These are pretty cool, also because the Snapdragon XR 2 is much more powerful than the 835 mounted by the Oculus Quest. Considering that this number doesn’t count the Quest users connected via Oculus Link, the actual number of VR users on Steam is even higher. and USB Type-C connectivity 2 hours of “active use” battery life.

In 2015, Snapchat acquired Looksery for $150M. With regards to talent, Snapchat has been acquiring there in a big way as well, hiring people from Oculus, Hololens, Qualcomm, as well as a few designers who have created glasses for names like Michael Kors and Lady Gaga.
