HTC is teasing a new headset. HTC is teasing a new piece of hardware again, and this time most probably it will be a VR headset. Not much, honestly.

XR headset manufacturer HTC VIVE has debuted its VIVE Ultimate Tracker, which will offer users multiple vantage points for body tracking, Shen Ye, Global Head of Product, HTC VIVE announced in a blog post on Wednesday. The device can specifically enhance training skills linked to foot tracking, namely for football players.

Otherwise, now the situation is more or less like before, with the exception of some places where there are still some Oculus devices in stock (for instance in Japan and Taiwan). The VR route is instead being pursued by HTC (with its VEC event happening soon) and IEEE. Unity’s HDRP is now VR-compatible. This is astonishing.
