According to Ars Technica , the frames don’t get sent as a whole, but in little horizonal slices there are continuously streamed, so that to reduce a lot the perceived latency. From the stats, they will see how many of the PC VR users will use a Rift S and how many will use a Quest+Link and then they will decide how to go on.
