First Contact says the game uses Sony’s eye-tracking to tell whether your eyes are closed, so if you’re careful you can keep yourself from being temporarily blinded by the searing light beam of a bright flashlight cutting across a dark room. You can also hold up your hands to shield your eyes from the bright lights.

Sony recently unveiled Spatial Reality Display, a 15.6-inch inch 4K panel that includes both eye-tracking and embedded lenticular lens array so users can view 3D content with the naked eye. Sony says it’s designed for one viewer at a time. The image also twitched when my wife tried to get a glimpse alongside me.

PlayStation VR has been the most successful headset until now (if we exclude the crappy mobile viewers), but now it is pretty dated and people were wondering what Sony was going to do. Some people started to think that Sony could have abandoned VR.
