Sony is making VR for the masses. PS VR is Sony’s virtual reality system that uses a head-mounted display, the PlayStation Camera, and PlayStation Move controllers to make players feel like they are surrounded by digital video game worlds. On the outside, Lenovo’s currently unnamed device looks similar to Sony’s PlayStation VR in design, with a ring that sits on top of the user’s headset to keep the weight off of the face like on the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive. Selected HoloLens software is reportedly also due to be ported to the headsets.

But as far as I know, nothing disruptive for the industry : Oculus has already shots all its bullets, and HTC for the first time isn’t announcing anything. Some surprises may arrive from Sony (I hope so, but I don’t believe so), but for the rest, I’ve mostly heard about news from secondary operators. Let’s see.

Youtuber Mike VR Oasis has also published a video of the passthrough vision from the Index. HTC Vive Cosmos will work with Vive Wireless Adapter. This week, HTC has not made another big reveal about the Vive Cosmos, so we’ll still have to wait to discover more about its price and its features. I love this idea by Valve.
