Today has been another interesting day: it has started with us running to try to enter the Cyberpunk 2077 booth (but with no luck) and has finished playing with an Oculus Go. bHaptics has been one of the best demos that I’ve tried here at Gamescom. Playing with it is great, it is a bit like playing Unreal Tournament.

All three sources reported that Sony, the supplier, can only produce enough microdisplays for less than 500K headsets in 2024. If you take a look at programs that truly utilize graphics processing, they are really decades-old apps: Photoshop( 1987 ), Unreal Engine (1999), 3Dmax ( 1988 ), Blender ( 2002 ) and others.
