Apple is clearly committed in augmented reality, and the recent release of ARKit 3 proves that. Microsoft is launching in two weeks a private beta for iOS users.

He forecasts that all headsets will have some form of BCIs soon , and he also says that in the future BCIs will be able to inject any form of reality into our brain. Our brain is very plastic and the BCI could trigger the right parts of the brain so that you feel haptic sensations on 6 fingers if your avatar has 6 fingers.
