In Taiwan, all western websites work and so you don’t need to set up a VPN just to use Google. I also tried a demo that employed Taiwanese gloves and scent emission hardware. The company showcasing it was OReady and the demo was a marketing experience for a whiskey brand. I moved my hand towards the bottle and I grabbed it.

Motion tracking is either done by the smartphone’s sensors or built-in headset sensors; thus, there are no cables hindering free movement. The great thing is, one can start for as cheap as fifteen bucks with the simplest headset from Google (Cardboard). Google Daydream View. Google Cardboard. Google Daydream.

Some months ago, we all read that letter where Zuckerberg claimed wanting to get complete control of the hardware and software stack so that Facebook shouldn’t depend on external companies, like Google or Apple for the SO, or phone manufacturers for the hardware.
