A bit like what happened with Henry ported from PC to Oculus Go by John Carmack: he used a special encoding of 5K 360 video and the experience is similar to the realtime UE4 experience on PC, even if at the same time it is completely different.

But notwithstanding all these pro sides, Oculus has clearly stated that hands tracking won’t replace Quest controllers. It is also interesting to notice that journalists reported that if the hand tracking is not good enough on a particular hand, the system makes it to disappear, to avoid you seeing hands in weird poses.

I was pretty shocked to see the video of The Walking Dead on Upload VR and not being able to spot many differences between the two versions. The display is where the new headset will truly shine: an almost 4K LCD display is night-and-day difference with the dual 1440×1600 pixel-per-eye displays of the Quest.
