Apple has also unveiled that the ZEISS Optical Inserts will be available in two types: Readers, priced at $99, and Prescription, available for $149. Qualcomm has officially said that this is the chipset that the upcoming Samsung headset is going to employ. Apple will open the preorders next Friday, that is January, 19th at 5 am PT.

Talking about the optics system of the Vision Pro, there are still many unknowns about the ZEISS prescription lenses associated with the device. He also states that the prototype has some drawbacks, but they seem driven more by the fact it is a prototype than the actual showcased technology.
