The Quest 2 is a great gaming machine offered at a ridiculous price, and it has totally crushed the competition. In the case of VR, we all remember the competition between HTC and Oculus in 2016, with HTC clearly winning the market until Oculus used Facebook’s money to slash the price of the Rift around 2017.

While Oculus is getting all the glory for the Quest, its competitors are not sleeping. Huawei has upgraded its sleek VR glasses and now they support 6DOF movement and 6DOF controllers that are very similar to the Oculus Touch. Notwithstanding all this hate, the Oculus Quest 2 is selling very well. Other relevant news.

We all know that Microsoft too is waiting before introducing VR for the Xbox because the VR market is too little for them, and Sony seems to follow a similar strategy, not investing too much until next year. Together with this piece of news, Bloomberg also reported that PSVR 2 will feature an OLED display manufactured by Samsung.

HP has fixed many of the visual problems of the headse t, and Microsoft has just released a patch on Windows 10 that aims at solving many visual issues of all WMR headsets (like Chromatic aberration). But honestly, I expected a bit more … it’s a bit weird that Microsoft hasn’t solved its biggest pain point yet. Other relevant news.
