It has become one of the headset manufacturers with the biggest worldwide market, and the market leader (together with HTC) in the B2B virtual reality sector. Its latest headset, the Pico Neo 3 , was a very good Oculus Quest 2 clone , that also brought some innovations, like the DP Cable to connect it to the PC for a true PCVR experience.

We can say the new cycle started with the announcement of the Apple Vision Pro , because that has been a disruptive moment for our market: Road To VR’s Ben Lang says that it has been the most important moment for virtual reality after Facebook’s acquisition of Oculus , and I agree. The HTC Vive Cosmos may release soon for €799. Popular VR Youtuber Sebastian Ang has spotted two online stores (one from the Netherlands and the other from Germany) already listing the Vive Cosmos for €799. A market where Oculus has almost no earning s from the hardware sales, though, so it’s a weird situation.
