This week, virtual production specialists Scenez entered a developer partnership with HTC VIVE to leverage its XR Elite headset for mixed reality (MR), “4D,” content creation and distribution. The news follows HTC’s announcement of its XR Elite MR headset at CES 2023 last month.

HTC Vive Cosmos will work with Vive Wireless Adapter. This week, HTC has not made another big reveal about the Vive Cosmos, so we’ll still have to wait to discover more about its price and its features. It’s more a logistic thing internal to HTC, so I think most of us can not care about this :D. Other relevant news.

Oculus and HTC had been holding details surrounding Rift and Vive launch windows close to the chest, probably because they had delays to announce and need to nail down new plans. First, HTC delays the Vive until April 2016, with plans to show an updated developer kit at CES in January. In December, these plans become known.
