HP and Microsoft have a long track in offering enterprise hardware, so this headset may battle HTC on his own land (B2B). Rony Abovitz steps down from Magic Leap CEO. This was a very good thing and attracted many people to Magic Leap. I hope that Magic Leap will benefit from it and will recover pretty soon.

HTC 5G streaming. HTC was at MWC showcasing its new headset Vive Focus Plus together with a 5G network. There was a real 5G network created by HTC where on one side there were some special computers that mocked a rendering farm and on the other side there was a user wearing a Vive Focus Plus. The look it provides is also cool.

“Apple has invented the glasses of the future” is probably what journals and magazines will say the day of launch, and all the various HoloLens , Magic Leap , etc… will be forgotten by mainstream media. MR & hand tracking? I also see Oculus finally announcing a wireless accessory for the Rift S.

This openness reflects also on the hardware side, where Pico has just announced a partnership with Ultraleap to bring its hand-tracking device to Pico via an adapter. If the rumor is true, Meta by 2024 is going to basically release the Nreal glasses or a mix of Nreal Light and Magic Leap 2. I am very much flattered by it.
