This week in XR hasn’t had any explosive news, but it was interesting nonetheless: in particular we had cool info on AR glasses, with some news from Kura, Lynx, and Samsung. Samsung AR glasses concept has been leaked. Popular Twitter leaker WalkingCat has leaked two trailer videos about two AR glasses by Samsung.

Body tracking leaked from Quest SDK documentation. A leaked image from the Oculus team shows that the company is working to implement body tracking inside the Oculus Unity SDK. A good article on XR Must highlights the best work that has been presented at Sundance Festival New Frontiers this year.

In my opinion , the true error is with the Vive 1 , that will get a price that is higher than the one of all the competitors… and that will cost as much as a Samsung Odyssey, notwithstanding its far lower features. But we also know that when in VR, most people just look forward with their eyes. Vive Focus comes to the west.

Maybe with eye tracking and some more screen resolution, it may have been. I think that someone is fooling us with specifications: of course, if I have to render the standard Unity cube at 120 Hz, maybe also a Raspberry can be enough… but this can’t count as a minimum specification. Is the Index a next-gen device?
