Chinese manufacturers BOE and SeeYA may provide cheaper displays in higher quantities than Sony is doing now, while Samsung may be supplying the DRAM components. For example, while holding a physical prop, such as a welding torch, the hand tracking remains robust. I believe there will be many use cases for this.

Some of its features are: 2,160 × 2,160 resolution per eye 90Hz framerate 4-cameras inside-out tracking (like the Quest) Touch-like controllers with Knuckles-like finger-sensing Face tracking Hips tracking (for better orientation in games) Integration with SteamVR games Wireless add-on. So this is a market we should all keep an eye on.

According to John Carmack , Oculus CTO noted that the Oculus Go will perform "significantly better" than the Samsung Gear. My favorite example of an unfathomable VR experience today is GE Healthcare’s virtual reality speciality software. Facebook is the technology empire to do this and fuel VR for the masses.

When I first laid eyes (and hands) upon Samsung's new Galaxy S22 Ultra, I assure you it was not love at first sight. The "Ultra'' designation has typically been the go-to option for deep-pocketed Samsung fans who want the biggest and best display paired with the most (and best?) Turns out, Samsung was right and I'm eating crow.

And to be clear, I used it in a real home, not a carefully controlled demo environment or a well-lit studio. Sure Quest 3 will dynamically adjust its exposure when you get near a bright light source, so that for example screens are temporarily visible, but Vision Pro doesn't have to.

Beliaeff: If you look at the evolution of video games, they’re trying to control everything a person is experiencing. Stereoscopic cameras are an example.
