Sony invests $250M in Epic Games. Sony has announced that it has made a big investment of $250M in Epic Games through one of its subsidiaries. These are huge numbers for VR: if you look at the most recent SteamVR survey, you get that Oculus headsets are now at 67% of the whole PCVR market. This is amazing for us developers, but unluckily it is a feature tied to using the Oculus SDK, which is not cross-platform. Sony acquires Bungie and thinks about Capcom.

This week Sony has showcased the new DualShock controller for the PS5, dubbed DualSens. PSVR2 will surely have its dedicated controllers, but since Sony is trying to guarantee retro-compatibility of games (especially gems like AstroBot), this headset should also be able to work with the DualSens controller.
