Another leak regarded the release date: an Amazon listing put the availability date of the Quest 3 starting from October, 10th. First of all, Google has to keep the work on the headset very secret also internally , because Samsung is afraid that Google will steal its expertise to build a competing product.

This made sure investors gained some trust for immersive reality startups again, something that will be beneficial for our whole industry. The famous journalist Charlie Fink has had an amazing experience trying Augmented Reality on a small combat plane. Snap and Amazon partner to offer AR preview of shopping items. Samsung is still working on AR glasses and its new internal prototype seems to be called SM-I120. Red6 made Charlie Fink try AR on a plane.

I mean, all UE developers, we Unity developers felt like being in a party where everyone is making out and you’re just there sipping a coke. Unity has still on its side the facility of use and the better support for mobile platforms, but I think it has to answer very soon to the hype created by UE. All of this in less than 1 year.
