The event always wows spectators with a rich lineup of technology vendors and innovations; however, in 2024, XR took centre stage with many firms highlighting major products, addressing device debuts, and entering the market. MWC 2024 was a valuable insight into the mainstream XR market.

But things on the consumers’ side may not be going as well: according to some data scrapped from Amazon, the Quest 2 outsold the Quest 3 by a factor of 3:1 in the last 30 days. HTC is working on compatibility with other headsets, but nothing has been announced yet. THREE TO ONE.

Probably What The Golf will become the game of the year 2024… I’m of course super excited for this launch because the hype created by this headset can reinvigorate the whole XR ecosystem. This is something that Meta does not have, and let the headset start with already a huge amount of available content since Day 1. and Super Fruit Ninja.
