Just three months ago, the company revealed it’s putting 17,000 Oculus Go headsets in Walmart stores for employee training. And this year, Lowe’s extended its use of mixed reality to employee training and rolled out more XR experiences aimed at solving customers’ challenges.

These are pretty cool, also because the Snapdragon XR 2 is much more powerful than the 835 mounted by the Oculus Quest. New Steam hardware survey highlights that the number of VR headsets has grown again, and now according to Road To VR there are 1.6M Oculus Quest is sold out, and Coronavirus may make the situation even worse.

Oculus has gained in these years always more success in the consumers’ landscape, and now with the Oculus Quest , thanks to an affordable device running great content , it is making strides in the market. Today, finally, Facebook has changed all of this and i s making Oculus For Business available to all interested companies.

An MIT study about embracing digital technology reports that 63 percent of surveyed managers said the pace of technological change in their workplaces is too slow, primarily due to a “lack of urgency.” Companies can no longer fulfill service contracts, in-person training can no longer take place, on-site sales demos and events are canceled.
