This is because Leap Motion has announced its v4 version of the tracking runtime and with it three demos to showcase the new tracking functionalities: Cat Explorer, Particles, and Paint. Cat Explorer is an educational app made to show you all the anatomy of a cat and it obviously employs Leap Motion as the only medium of interaction.

SenseGlove is currently producing its DK1 device , that can be used both with Vive systems (in this case, a Vive Tracker is attached to the gloves to provide the positional tracking) or Oculus systems (in this case, the Oculus Touch controllers are used). It has not been thought for games, but more for enterprise uses like training.

This means that at the moment you can not use NextMind with the Oculus Quest standalone (you can use it with Quest + Link, of course). After all this study, a random light pattern appears, and I don’t see it. Of course, if you want to use it together with a VR headset, you have to own a VR-ready PC. Hands-on with the demos.

With Paper Plane , we studied the basic features of Leap Motion using fairly simple mechanics. That’s the feeling we wanted to simulate. What was it like incorporating Leap Motion into your Unity workflow? Hauhet is very abstract and futuristic, while Paper Plane is uses very classic arcade motifs.
