Qualcomm has officially said that this is the chipset that the upcoming Samsung headset is going to employ. But there is not only Samsung: XR2 Gen 2 is going to be integrated also by Immersed’s Visor, a new HTC Vive headset, a YVR headset in China, and a headset that is still undisclosed.

Last month, we got to know that (according to a rumor) Samsung is working together with Microsoft on new AR glasses, most probably powered by a Qualcomm chipset. Samsung has apparently completed a prototype, and “is deciding the release date”.

The problem is not the headset, but the controllers, that maybe to spare battery are emitting very low IR light, that can’t be detected very well outside, where the Sun emits too many IR rays; A Redditor has published a super cool guide on how to obtain the most from your router to have very low latency on Virtual Desktop.
