That is if every company implemented OpenXR, a program built for the Oculus should work with SteamVR as well.

Meow Wolf’s Omega Mart is an immersive art experience with over 50 collaborating visual and musical artists and artist groups from all over the world. This is blowing our mind.

Between the $299 Oculus Quest, the death of the movie theater, and the COVID stigma on shared headsets, you’d think we wouldn’t be hearing much about this right now. We are waiting and hoping and praying a white knight swoops in to rescue Poly like Microsoft rescued AltspaceVR in the VR winter of 2018. Not a good sign.

There are plenty of products like the Oculus Go, which is just a few hundred dollars, that give you more of a robust kit than something like a Google Cardboard, where you can dip your toe in. We found a really neat solution for virtual reality, but really more of a trainer for any size of group, that goes all the way back to old 3D screens.
