Coronavirus is back in Italy and from yesterday we’re having new restrictions like a night curfew, some kind of shops closed, etc… I hope that you and the people you love are safe. With this digital edition, of course, we had nothing of this, and the CES was just a bunch of video announcements. What is cool, watching the video, is that the notifications that the smartglasses project are rendered on both eyes, so with these glasses it is possible to have a 3D display always in front of you.

It talked about SIFT features and how the inventor used this kind of features to add 3D model of rabbits and teapots on top of a desk and over the hand in a camera video stream. A virtual teapot added to a real scene in a video stream. So, I googled around and found a workshop from a Unity event that taught how to do a Unity game.

I’m still here in the US for some days after having attended AWE, planning to meet some interesting people before heading back to Italy. The short-term goal is to provide better tools to professional video creators , so Unity can compete better with Unreal Engine, which is already used in Hollywood productions.
