Some weeks ago, I’ve reported of rumors about Magic Leap being in big trouble and having assigned all its patents as collateral to bank JP Morgan, probably because it is looking for a loan or to raise a round E. He made various experiments and hacked a Vive Pro with Leap Motion to make interactions more realistic.

But now a new report from The Information informs us that it is also building its own operating system for those glasses, and it won’t be based on Android (like most of the operating systems for mobile devices, including standalone headsets), but made entirely custom. At worst, use Google Translate. Personally, I have made the first translation with Google Translate, then I asked my assistant Miss S to check and correct the translation. Since when you are in China it is more difficult to buy stuff (language barrier, Google services blocked, etc…), try to buy the most while you are at home.

Then, The Information has reported a similar rumor, but talking about other glasses, codenamed Stella , that should be similar to Snap’s Spectacles and be released much sooner than 2023 (it could be the 1st generation of devices created by this partnership).
