And it is nice that HTC with this new Cosmos line is satisfying the needs of a broad share of VR people : from the casual gamer that wants something cheap to the professional.

Finland-based startup Varjo , maker of high-end enterprise VR headsets, has built an impressive product and charted a rapid growth, seemingly similar to the early years of Oculus. Eiden confirmed the company now has some 150 employees, about half of which he said are focused on hardware, with the other half on software.

Both the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive have a clear set of recommended specs. The Finland-based studio today launched VRMark on Steam and its own website. How the software develops are more complex and varied VR hardware arrives on the market will be interesting to see.
