15 VR short films scheduled to debut at Tribeca Immersive will be available later this month on standalone Oculus headsets. Last month New York’s annual Tribeca Film Festival announced it would be postponing its film and interactive storytelling programs indefinitely after New York Gov. Key Collaborator: Liam Young.

SkyLights, maker of immersive, cinematic in-flight entertainment (IFE), has content partnerships with the likes of 20 th Century Fox, DreamWorks, and BBC. Japan Airlines and JetFly have also tested the headset, which can store up to 40 high-def films including five VR titles. Such VR entertainment could transform the cabin experience.
