So many memories… who was there already in VR with me? We’ll see….

With a surprise move, Microsoft has announced that in 2022 it will integrate Microsoft Mesh, its framework to create shared XR experiences, inside Microsoft Teams. And if they have these features from Microsoft, they won’t need to get them from Meta.

Body tracking leaked from Quest SDK documentation. It’s not clear on what platforms this functionality will be working on, but if I had to guess, I would say Project Cambria, since its body tracking was already revealed in a video some months ago. First of all, it was just a prerecorded 180 video , so nothing special.

A report from Insider states that Microsoft may have canceled its plans for HoloLens 3. There is instead a rumored partnership with Samsung , where Samsung would actually build a new XR device and Microsoft offer the platform on top of which the headset may run. Some updates on Meta products.
