While the spotlight is all on Oculus and its Quest, actually Pico and HTC are evolving their hardware and software offerings without almost no one talking about it. I’ve made a nice Youtube video with me saying random stuff and exploring the Vive Hand Tracking SDK at first in Unity and then in action using my hands in VR.

HTC is set to reveal its new VIVE Mars CamTrack solution at the SIGGRAPH 2022 in Vancouver, Canada, where it will showcase the immersive production tool with Departure Lounge and Arcturus, it was revealed on Tuesday. The only company not much affected by it is HTC, that manufacturers its headsets in Taiwan and not in Mainland China. HTC Vive releases Cosmos Elite, two models of Vive Pro Eye and creates some confusion. For sure you remember the recent launch of a full line of Vive Cosmos headsets , all with customized faceplates.

Although we are undeniably in the early adoption stages, the latest numbers from the International Data Corp. The Series A was led by Qualcomm Ventures, and also involved The VR Fund (contributors to The Wave’s round as well), Colopl Next, Capital Factory, HTC, and more. HTC FUNDS STEEL WOOL, SOLO. is excited about VR.
