nReal is a Chinese augmented reality company that is developing an augmented reality glass that is cheap, light and fashionable. nReal has been sued by Epic Games for the name too similar to Unreal and by Magic Leap that claims that nReal CEO Chi Xu has stolen the technology of the American company while working there.

Microsoft announces Mesh, an XR collaboration platform. Alex Kipman promised us a Microsoft Ignite conference with an amazing level of immersion , and he kept his word. But since Microsoft owns one of those studios (and using it costs around $100K/day if I remember well!), You are all fantastic! Here you are my flower for you!

French startup Lynx has finally unveiled the R1, the first mixed reality standalone headset. While with other VR headsets like the Vive Focus Plus it is already possible to do some kind of augmented reality , this is the first standalone headset that can provide both good quality AR and VR on the same device. Great post.

In my opinion, Magic Leap 2 is a superior device to HoloLens 2 (see my hands-on here ), so I think that with these prices, it can have good success in the enterprise market, starting to gain shares with regard to Microsoft. Unreal Engine 5 has brought two interesting features with its release: Lumen and Nanite. Funny link. Funny link.
