Apple has been continuously iterating on ARKit , its augmented reality development tool that lets creators make smartphone-based AR experiences. One of the biggest claims to come from the report is the supposed announcement surrounding OS support for controllers with touchpads as well as “stereo AR headsets.”

At an event in San Jose, California, Facebook introduced its plan for augmented reality glasses, where users will be able to pull up a visual display on top of what’s actually in front of them. Microsoft won the PC era and now has a tablet business, while Apple and Google have the dominant mobile operating systems.

The recently launched new Samsung Gear VR with controller was also briefly mentioned as an affordable alternative to the more cost-intensive Rift set-up.

The Cosmos faceplate features a new pattern… and apart from the aesthetics, the crux is that it is now possible to see that the headset now features even 6 tracking cameras for positional and controllers’ tracking: two on the front, two on the sides, one on the top of the Faceplate, one on the bottom of the faceplate. Hello everyone from San Jose, California! Apple may unveil RealityOS at WWDC. At the upcoming WWDC, Apple may unveil its operating system for XR glasses, dubbed RealityOS. Most probably, it won’t also unveil the glasses, but it may just talk about upcoming features for Apple XR developers. or no reason?
