Microsoft and Samsung may be partnering for an AR device. According to Korean media, Samsung Electronics is working with Microsoft on a new augmented/mixed reality project “involving HoloLens”. Samsung is one of the most famous suppliers of components for electronic devices (e.g. Samsung Odyssey+).

After so many years, finally VR is reaching its tipping point where one platform will reach the 10 million sold units, which is considered as a magic number for a healthy ecosystem. Another brand I’m very curious about is Samsung : sooner or later, it should announce something, either in VR or in AR.

But unfortunately, Samsung and a lot of these big TV players have kind of pulled out. In our age of Amazon, that's certainly helpful.
