The community is not happy with this news, but another piece of news spread this week by VR magazines has given us some hope. If the numbers are real, they are impressive: HoloLens 1 sold 50,000 headsets worldwide during its lifetime, Magic Leap has sold less than 10,000 glasses… and these companies had bigger funding than Nreal.

Someone invokes saviors like Google and Amazon, but even if they managed to succeed, they are other data-harvesting companies , so in any case, we are f**ked. Considering the terrible sales performances of Snap Spectacles, I think the news will arrive on all main tech magazines, but the sales of these glasses won’t be spectacular. Magic Leap will meet its fate. Duck Face, Magic Leap One, and me. What about Magic Leap ? the enterprise market).

As John Riccitiello (CEO of Unity) said some years ago , the VR market won’t be interesting enough until it will reach the 10 million users mark. Why can’t it be Facebook, or Magic Leap ? Suzanne Borders, CEO and founder of BadVR, at the company’s office in Marina Del Rey, with a Magic Leap One on.

It is one of those places where people look for 3D models , alongside other marketplaces like the Unity Asset Store, Google Poly or Turbosquid. The interview has been super interesting for me, because thanks to it I’ve learned a lot about the 3D modeling market, that is something that usually VR magazines do not talk about.
