The third major change came from Unity which recently announced that it will now be serving AR ads on mobile. Unity has one of the world’s largest mobile ad serving businesses and at the end of last year they partnered with Fossil to pilot this new ad format in mobile games. I call them the “Incarnations”.

There's a lot of, for example, architectural firms in town, and they aren't as flashy as a virtual sports or something, but they're all using VR for showing the buildings, or going to a client and saying, "hey, would you like this room moved over here?

Thanks David for the tip). Thanks Eloi for the tip). Unreal Engine is adding Vulkan support for Oculus Quest and Unity fill follow later on this year. Amazon thinks using AR for its delivery agents. In an interesting article on Road To VR, Enrique Tromp of VRMADA gives some examples on well-made interactions in VR.

If you are a Unity/UE developer, you may have issues with Quest developing at this moment after the update , because when you build the app, you may see only one controller, or the controllers behaving in a weird way. Amazon Prime Video comes to Oculus mobile devices. Amazon streaming services come to VR. News worth a mention.

After so many years, finally VR is reaching its tipping point where one platform will reach the 10 million sold units, which is considered as a magic number for a healthy ecosystem. I think this year we will have always more examples of this kind, and the Apple headset should be the final realization of this trend. Eye tracking.
