We all joked about Samsung waiting for the Apple Vision Pro announcement to copy it, but according to some rumors, this is exactly what is happening. Pre-teen accounts will have very strict safety measures and they must be set up by an adult, which will have total control over it. I do not know what to think about this.

Apple finally talks about VR while taking a (very solid) swing at AR, Walmart will use virtual reality to train employees, you can grow better weed with AR + AI, and Q1 VR headset sales…. APPLE ACTUALLY TALKS ABOUT VR. APPLE TAKES A (VERY SOLID) SWING AT AUGMENTED REALITY. However… we’re still waiting for those apple AR glasses.

During all these months, I had the occasion of reading on Linkedin about all his cool prototypes and enterprise solutions that he and his colleagues have developed inside the company, ranging from 360 videos to hand-tracked training solutions with the Quest, not to mention XR entertainment solutions for airplane passengers.

Someone leaked on Imgur a screenshot from a call on Facebook Workplace where it is possible to see some Oculus controllers that are completely different from the ones that are on the market today. These depth cameras are used for positional tracking of controllers and the headset. Pepperidge Farm remembers!).

And it also makes me super-happy that no one is about Facebook and Apple… I was getting pretty bored in writing newsletters only about these two companies! Even if they are just concept videos, they are a massive piece of news anyway. I wonder if something similar could be employed for 360 videos….
