Regarding the glasses, I have not big hopes for true AR glasses, but I think that thanks to Facebook and Apple, finally we’ll have some important smartglasses entering the market , making the mainstream think about wearing something on their face to enjoy notifications from the phone. Phone AR will be always more popular.

I see 2020 as a good year of consolidation, where VR will grow linearly before the expected explosion around 2022. In the end, I still believe in the old predictions of Unity CEO John Riccitiello: Look at this graph shown by Mr. Riccitiello in 2017: the purple line is the one of the analysts, while the white one is the one forecasted by him.

The new update for Oculus Quest brings with it some interesting features, like the tracking of the Apple Magic Keyboard, some updates to the UI, and a new menu for hand tracking. Samsung Exynos 2200 introduces ray tracing on mobile. Samsung has just announced its new Exynos 2200 mobile chipset , powered by AMD RDNA 2 architecture.
