Holo-Light showed me that AR cloud rendering may already work

At the moment, XR Now is compatible with HoloLens 2, Oculus Quest 2, and Android 10 tablets. Holo-Light has also just announced to have become the first AR/VR streaming provider to be named Unity Verified Solutions Partner. I wonder if I launched the same application from my city here in Italy, if I would have the same results.

Its latest headset, the Pico Neo 3 , was a very good Oculus Quest 2 clone , that also brought some innovations, like the DP Cable to connect it to the PC for a true PCVR experience. And for these reasons, Pico has been bought by Bytedance in 2021 … a move that many compared to the acquisition of Oculus by Facebook.

As a long-time AR enthusiast, and one of the first to have tried Google Glass in Italy, I have to admit that I will consider AR mainstream only when it will be on glasses that we will wear all day , when we’ll live in a completely shared mixed reality world (the AR Cloud). The answer is not so trivial.
