On the technical side, Dennys Kuhnert (the developer behind Hand Physics lab), compared on video the performance of hand tracking on Vision Pro and Quest 3, and showed how at this moment, the Quest 3 is much better at that task. Apple has just started, so still has a long road to go with this task.

It features 11,000 movies and 4600 TV shows to choose from , including new blockbusters like Indiana Jones 5 or Guardians of the Galaxy 3. It features nice graphics, an interesting story, and a strong use of hand tracking through which you can cast spells. There are also 120 3D movies, which look very good in VR.

There are no controllers, but Ultraleap hands tracking (you can use it with FinchShift controllers, though). $500 for this device is a steal. The acquirer could be Indiana company Zimmer Biomet, which could offer a $100M investment in the startup. The trials show that the sickness is reduced and so the technology is promising. Furthermore, it has the advantage that it can work with Quest’s hand tracking. Unreal Engine 4.25 adds many XR features.
