Markers can be used to define where to show virtual elements, and in the demo that I tried were used to show virtual Chinese artworks in a room; Leap Motion device on Realmax glasses. RealMax can mount a Leap Motion device, so you have the power of using naturally your hands to interact with AR elements. I liked it a lot.

The shape of the controllers is slightly different than the one of the Oculus Touch, though, and there is a ring that surrounds the wrist of the user. There is also “finger-tracking” a la Valve Index , but just for the thumb, index, and middle finger (so, it is more a la Oculus Touch). As long as it works….
